Week 7 together

Smile :D

This week, like every week, has been pretty good! Ciera wanted me to start writing blog posts instead of her doing them all the time, so I thought I should write this week’s post :P. This week has been pretty relaxing, we didn’t really do too much. It’s good to relax every so often :)

On Wednesday, I had to go to work early (7am!) which was quite hard but I managed to do it. Because I started two hours earlier than normal (my hours are normally 9 AM to 5:30 PM), I also finished two hours earlier. Ciera met me at work, and we went to Lord of the Fries for ‘lunch’, and then went to Northland Shopping Centre, where we spent the rest of the day looking at beds and other furniture (Ciera wants a new bed, they’re quite expensive though!). Saw some nice furniture that we’ll have in our own house one day! 😀

Ciera’s been continuing to look for jobs. We’ve gotten relatively desperate about looking for jobs, so much that we’ve even applied to McDonalds. Towards the end of the week, she applied for a job at Myki, who have done a phone interview and are now wanting her to do an assessment next week! Great stuff.

Yesterday, we all (Ciera, my sister Jacinta, my mum and I) went to Smorgy’s which is an all-you-can-eat buffet relatively close to here. It wasn’t too bad and the food was pretty good, but Food Star is a lot better, and cheaper too. After we were done there, we went to Northland (again), as Ciera wanted to get some new clothes (for the Myki assessment this week), and some new pillows too. While we didn’t find any clothes that she liked, we bought some new, awesome pillows, and they made sleeping a lot nicer 😀

Today, we were going to see a movie, but I’ve got a really bad headache :(. We might still end up going though, if I feel better soon.

Until next time,
— Daniel

Yay relaxation! So did you end up going to the movie? Which one did you see? I just saw Dinner for Schmucks last night. It was hilarious. And stupid, very stupid. Does Australia have the same movies in theaters as the U.S.?

Also, I just want to say, I think Lord of the Fries is an awesome name for a fast food place. I almost thought you were joking at first, then I was like “woah really?!”

Ciera! I’m so happy you got an interview/assessment! How exciting! I’ll be thinking of you. Too bad you didn’t find any clothes at the store; maybe you can borrow some. 😉

Daniel: I’m sorry about your headache. It’s a good thing you got some pillows to lie on. Sleeping is my favorite thing to do when I have a headache.

We didn’t end up going to a movie. However, we stayed home and watched Hot Fuzz (which we’ve got on DVD). We’ve often got the same movies here, except they come out a bit (or a lot) later than they do in the USA. I don’t know why You can look up a movie on IMDB and see the release dates around the world.

Haha, yeah, Lord of the Fries is awesome. And has an awesome name xD

Ciera’s going to borrow some of my sister’s clothes, I think they fit her. It’s lucky :)

Awww, thanks Luci. My headache went away eventually. I seem to get them too often :(
