Week 9 together – Ciera gets a job

Cute picture of us.

Wow, week 9 already! The weeks seem to go so quickly when you’re having fun :)! This week, Ciera had her Myki training on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. By the end of Thursday, she found out that she had gotten the job! I’m so proud of her, and glad that she’s finally found a job in Australia :). Her first shift is this Friday, really really early in the morning (6:30 AM).

Friday, when I finished work for the day, we went to Papa Gino’s for dinner (yes, again). This time, we got some different food than last time (I got lasagna, and Ciera got ravioli), and it was quite delicious. I’d recommend going there to anyone looking for good Italian food! On Saturday, we went into the city to go to Lord of the Fries for lunch, and to see a Tim Burton exhibition at ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image). We got up a little later than expected, but still went into the city. By the time we got to ACMI, it was already 3pm, and the queue for admission was massive. So, instead of going there, we decided to jump onto a train and go to Epping Plaza, as we haven’t been there before and wanted to go to a new area. Took a look around, seems like a nice shopping centre there. Unfortunately we got there about 4:15 PM, so we didn’t get a chance to look through all the stores (as most close at 5 PM).

Today (Sunday), in the morning, we went to Northland to look for some black shoes and pants for Ciera when she starts working. Usually when we look we don’t really find things, but this time we did! So now she has proper shoes and pants to wear :D. When we got home, we played Mario Galaxy for a bit, and then started making cookies.

This week, as I mentioned at the start of this post, Ciera has her first work shift on Friday, which should be good. Hopefully she enjoys it! Apart from that, this week will probably be the same as other weeks… Working during the week, looking forward to the weekend when I can spend time with the love of my life! 😀

Until next time,
— Daniel
